In the
beginning was the word, and the word was “Let.”
What an amazing show of faith when God the Father created the world by
just saying “Let it be so.” Then, Jesus
said “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who
believes in Me (does like I do), the works that I do, he will do also; and
greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father”
(returns to the “word”) and absolute faith.
There is a
theme here that is hard to explain and even more difficult to understand but it
tells us that faith is the answer and all
things are possible through faith.
Praying is a sign of believing and faith. The more you pray the stronger your faith
becomes and you will also “go to the Father,” and (return to the “word”). Begin growing your faith through prayer. Talk to God and know that he is there! Jesus even showed us how to do that when he
said “Pray like this.”
“Our Father
which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be
done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread. And forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For thine is
the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen (“Let” it be).
